Introducing Largo Chiropractor Dr. Anthony Stanganelli
Spinal Health Chiropractic Center is located in sunny Pinellas County on the Gulf Coast of Florida, serving Largo, Clearwater, Pinellas Park and Seminole. This facility prides itself on its relationship with those who enter its care. Clientele are not only patients, but family. All ages and varieties of health concerns are welcome. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help you.
The team is led by Dr. Anthony Stanganelli. "I was such the skeptic," recalls Anthony, "but my fascination with the human body and a relative in the profession made me decide to give it a shot." "A choice I am so thankful I made." "It’s hard to conceptualize the difference spinal care makes, but after receiving my first adjustments I felt better than I had ever felt and I knew there was something special to this medical art form."
Dr. Stanganelli began his pre-chiropractic education at the University of South Florida where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses. After completing his study there, he was accepted in Georgia’s Life University School of Chiropractic program. During his four years at Life, courses included a major emphasis on human anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in Life Universities Public Clinic. After graduating in 2002 Dr. Stanganelli returned to the Tampa Bay area to establish his practice.
"I love what I do, what can I say," says Dr. Stanganelli. "It’s so rewarding to know that you have impacted another human beings health and wellness without the use of invasive treatments or drugs. People don’t realize that antibiotics, pain pills, and other pharmaceuticals aren’t always the answer. That isn’t to say they don’t have their place, but there are almost always alternatives. This is why I take the time to explain everything up front, explain what it is I’m doing and why, and how it can help. I also invite any and all questions that my patients may have. I’d rather overload someone with information than to have them make a decision without the proper knowledge. I find an informed patient is a happy patient."
"We love skeptics," smiles Dr. Stanganelli. "I still remember the concerns and apprehension I had when I went to the chiropractor for the first time. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions and attempt to over communicate. Patients appreciate that."
In June of 2007, Dr. Stanganelli married his lovely wife, Dr. Tracy Stanganelli (also a doctor of chiropractic) they soon hope to start a healthy family.
Dr. Stanganelli says, "Thank you for visiting our site. I hope it can be a source of hope and healing. If you have any questions, please call me or click on the Email the Doctor button at the bottom of every page."
